I am Hugo, the hands and heart behind Atelier Hulowind. Born and raised in France, I have called Hong Kong home since 2018, and it is here that I discovered my passion for ceramic art two years ago.

What started as a creative escape from my 9-5 has become my therapy, my passion, and now, Atelier Hulowind. Here in Hong Kong, I spend my weekends at the pottery wheel, shaping functional ceramics that marry my French heritage with the Japanese aesthetic sensibilities I have come to admire.

My work is deeply personal. Each piece begins with inspiration from everyday moments: a gesture, a landscape, a photograph I've taken. I translate these fleeting impressions into tactile, organic forms that embrace imperfection and celebrate uniqueness.

Every piece is handmade in Hong Kong, shaped by my hands and influenced by two cultures I call home.
